My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the atmosphere was decent, with outdoor seating available for our large group, the food left much to be desired. The quality of the dishes was average at best, and considering the price, the value for money was disappointing.Service-wise, it was a bit of a letdown. We had to set up our own table and chairs outside since the indoor space couldn't accommodate our group size. Additionally, there was minimal assistance from the staff; we had to fetch our own water, utensils, and other essentials. Despite this, we were still expected to tip for the work we did ourselves, which felt unfair.

I had the combo platter. Fish, shrimp and crab cake with fries. Excellent, excellent and did I say excellent. Dog friendly and the woman who took my order gave my dog fresh Salmon. Vail loved it.

We visit Carlsbad about 2-3x/year and eat her for dinner each time we visit. It's more like a take out place but they have seating inside and on the patio for small families/groups. The food here is so fresh and delicious. I have settled into the Ahi sandwich with cole slaw. My very young kids eat the fish n chips, chowder and beans. The service here is great and friendly as well.

Was here for dinner for 2 consecutive days thats how much I loved it!!
First day had 2 plated meals (lemon butter halibut, Cajun ahi tuna) all the plated meals came with salad and Spanish rice.
Second day had mahimahi plated, red snapper sandwich, and fish and chips.

Lemon butter halibut tasted under seasoned, but was perfect with the other hot sauce they had (I forgot the names...). My husband's Cajun ahi was amazing though. All the seafood tasted fresh and boy I could eat the meal every day...

Second time here I discovered their fish and chips, and after having it I just wanted to cry..WHY DID I NOT ORDER THIS ON THE FIRST DAY! and it was after eating a red snapper sandwich meal already. The fish was thinly battered, super crispy on the outside, but fish so tender and juicy on the inside.

Good thing this place is close to legoland so I will be back again some time in the nearby future 😉

We are back at Pelly's!!! AGAIN!
This time tried the clam chowder, sashimi, and swordfish plate. I've noticed that the Cajun seasoning is the best...but maybe that's a personal preference. Again, all the fish were fresh.. that clam chowder was loaded with seafood. Only complaint was a bit salty for me, but great with the oyster biscuits.

You’ll be hard pressed to find fresher fish at this price point! The ahi tuna sandwich was amazing - fresh, big portions, and came out quick. The coconut shrimp was another star. I highly recommend!

Was craving Boston Clam Chowder. This place was recommended by several people in a Facebook group.
It didn’t disappoint. $9 for a bowl. To be honest, that’s all I should have ordered because it was a large bowl.
I also ordered 2piece fish and chips. $16
Do with gratuity I spent $30.
The fish was ok, I think it could be better seasoned. The fries are tasty.
